The industry's first affordable Computer-to-Plate system capable of producing press-ready aluminum plates, without chemical processing. The Platewriter series boasts innovative technology and sets new standards for the cost, flexibility and speed of plate making for small to medium format commercial printers.

The The PlateWriter™ uses an advanced, high definition inkjet imaging engine, fitted with plate detection and multiple optical registration sensors, ensuring high quality plate production coupled with repeatable and accurate registration of plates. Imaged plates are fed through the Finishing Unit, located below the imaging engine. It finishes the plates by drying and bonding the liquid dots to the plate surface. The finishing unit includes an automated, built-in gumming station to apply a protective gum layer.

The PlateWriter™ Comes in three modles the PW2000, the PW2400, and the PW3000.

• The PW2000 has a max plate size of 18x24.
• The PW2400 has a max plate size of 24.4x30.9.
• The PW3000 on the other hand has a max plate size of 24.4x36 and prints at up to 4 times faster than the other units

ECO 1630 IIIR

This Computer to Plate System is designed specifically to run Mitsubishi Silver DigiPlate material, giving you a productive edge on every job. The third generation of our two-up platesetter is better than ever, with a new top resolution of 2400 dpi for superb print quality. The ECO 1630 is fully automated so it requires a minimum of training to operate and a minimum of time to produce press ready plates. The system essentially runs itself, accepting files from its companion RIP, then imaging, processing and even sizing your plates, all in one stream lined workflow.

The 1630IIIR's high speed technology can produce up to 78 plates per hour at 1200 dpi. Or you can notch up its resolution to 1500, 1800 or 2400 dpi. This system requires two thirds less activator and stabilizer than comparable sized platesetters. Plus this platesetter comes complete with one of the most efficient CTP RIP's in the industry-the Harlequin based SDP-RIP - to automate the front-end of your pre-press workflow. This windows based RIP also has the SDP Smart Tools Rip Manager option, a client server based system to help manage your workflow.

This compact platesetter is the affordable repro solution for printers with PC or Mac. Makes plates up to 16.1" x 20 ". Resolution is 1200 x 600 DPI producing up to 100 LPI.
